In Q1 2022, the top Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in Panama demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads and active users, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 5.8K at the end of December and peaking at around 6.9K in mid-March. Weekly active users also exhibited a gradual rise, beginning at 50.3K and reaching around 53.3K by mid-March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, growing from roughly 4.9K at the beginning of January to about 5.7K by late February. Active user numbers remained mostly stable, with a slight fluctuation around 122K to 135K throughout the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 3.2K at the end of December to around 1.3K by the end of March. However, the app maintained a stable weekly active user base, fluctuating between 31K and 34K during the quarter.

MiBus Maps Panamá showed a significant uptick in weekly downloads, beginning at 1.1K and peaking at approximately 2.4K in mid-March. The weekly active users also increased, starting at 13.6K and reaching nearly 15.3K by mid-March.

Uber - Request a ride had a gradual rise in weekly downloads, starting from 1.4K and reaching approximately 1.1K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users saw a slight decline, starting from 86.1K at the end of December and settling around 75.4K by the end of March.
